Pakistan Iran gas  pipeline talk ends
Pakistan requests for IP gas pipeline extension:  Pakistan's energy crisis are worsening with every day and so the Iran Pakistan gas pipeline agreement signed in march 2010 with India also as one of the signatory
over the construction of 2100 kms gas pipeline project at a cost of $ 7.6 billion. India owing to international sanctions against Iran pressures dropped out.
Iran has completed 900 kms part of pipeline and Pakistan has yet to start. The agreement specifies that Iran would supply 750 million cubic feet gas to Pakistan for 25 years starting from the end of 2014.

Owing to elections ,lack of financial aid ,and mounting pressure on Pakistan against the project coupled with political controversy and resultantly the heavy penalties for delay compels Pakistan Govt to seek extention in deadline as the project would likely to meet the worsening energy crisis of Pakistan in the foreseeable future. International community and Pakistan's strong allies should extend their helpng hand to save the people of strategically vital Pakistan
