Leave sedentary lifestyle and stay healthy after 60, since have to face health problems with our growing age, I think when we are young,  we take  health for granted. We seem to ignore our health. In 30s and 40s., we are busy with our families and often feel stressed about our work.

No matter what age we are, it is never too late or too early to take care of our physical and mental health.

Here are some healthy tips for men and women over 60:

1. Get regular check- ups by visiting  doctor. Some people do not like going to the doctor, because they do not want to spend money and time visiting the doctor. They fear that the doctor will find a health problem during the check up. I personally think that it is good to know your cholesterol, blood pressure, sugar, weight and body mass index. Symptoms of some serious illness may not show until they become serious. My advice is to take the lead and stay in control.

2. Early diagnosis of diseases is life-saving and you will prevent big problems at the beginning of the road.

3. Get your sleep: Not getting enough sleep causes many chronic diseases and environments such as diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, obesity and depression. So listen to your body, go to bed when you feel tired and make sure to get at least seven hours of night sleep.

4. Quit smoking and stay away from alcohol: By quitting smoking and alcohol, you can see the benefits quickly and in the long term. It is observed that the average life span of a 30-year-old man who has quit smoking has increased by 10 years.

5 . Do sports: Being active in every period of your life is the most correct and easy way to stay healthy and long life. You can reduce cardiovascular disorders by doing 30-minute exercises several days a week. If you can't get out of the house, you can also try home exercises.

6. Pay attention to your weight : Being overweight or obese increases the risk of many diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart diseases and attacks.

In order to lose weight, eat a well balanced diet, with exercises. Get information about the most suitable diet for you.

7. Manage Stress: Trying to balance your work and home life. It can cause you to be stressed and nervous during the day. Learn ways to deal with stress. You should never forget the good things in your life. You should always keep in mind the good moments that make you happy. Try to increase the number of those moments.

8. Spend pleasant moments full of laughter with your friends and families. Enjoy these moments to the fullest.

13. Stay socially connected: Maintaining social connections and participating in activities you enjoy can help reduce stress and improve overall well-being

14. Take medications as prescribed and Keep a list of all medicines you take, include dosage and frequency.

15. Fall prevention: Keep your home safe by removing tripping hazards and adding grab bars in the bathroom.

16. Address mental health concerns: Take care of your emotional well-being by managing stress and seeking help for depression, anxiety, and other mental health concerns.

17. Get Vaccinated: Vaccination is an important way to protect yourself and others from serious illnesses.
