Toyota's ecofriendly conversion strategy for old car

    Realizing this grave danger of climatic change on the one hand various incentives are given to industrialists and the industrialists also realizing the realities and fact sheet have initiated efforts to reduce carbon emission to zero level.

    Toyota  one of the world auto maker from japan has always been in the forefront to design and restructure their products as per requirements and consumers concerns. So Toyota always strives to provide the best to its customers and care for their satisfaction. In order to  reduce carbon emissions from the environment, Toyota has planned to transform the older cars into eco-friendly models by replacing  old parts.

    Earlier, Toyota Auto manufacturers of Japan was reluctant to produce EVs due to the lack of demand and high cost but in a recent industry event in Tokyo, CEO Akio Toyoda announced the efforts that Toyota has initiated in view of global concerns for ecofriendly environment.

    He said for years Toyota has been one of the leading auto manufacturers . Therefore,  it is planning to make its cars more eco-friendly and is willing to contribute to making the environment clean.

    In pursuit of this , conversion strategy to transform older cars into more eco-friendly, simply by replacing certain parts in some sustainable models has been devised and planned, said the CEO.

    Akio Toyoda, CEO of Toyota, said that the company plans to use a “conversion” strategy On Friday, in an event, Toyoda- the grandson of company founder Kiichrio Toyoda said, “Toyota is looking into swapping sustainable technologies like fuel cells and electric motors into older cars to expedite an industry push toward electric vehicles.”

    “I don’t want to leave any car lover behind,” Toyoda said at the Tokyo Auto Salon.

    The initiative is worth appreciating and duly acknowledged by the stakeholders as it will drive the other competitors to take it seriously and design and replace their sustainable models in the market. This significant step will help to adopt electric vehicles well suited for ecofriendly initiatives.

    Though, the company has faced many issues and still mounting criticism for its lack of commitment to producing Electric Vehicals. Besides, it needs a large amount and will cost a lot to manufacture the cars and have to explore more markets to meet this costly venture.

    Though, the company has sought alternatives in the form of hybrid cars. Hybrid cars run on a blend of Gasoline and electricity. Moreover, they are also called hydrogen-powered cars.

    On the other hand, Toyota is one of the best car automakers and has established itself as a leader in hybrids. Moreover, the company’s dedication to the model has led some to believe it has become a means of avoiding a broader push to electric vehicles.
